Safety & Security

The safety and security of our tenants are our prime concern.

We have invested many thousands of pounds to ensure that all of our properties comply with the requirements of Houses in Multiple Occupation (wales) regulations as per the 2004 Housing Act. All our properties have been inspected by Wrexham County Borough Council's Housing Standards team, and all our properties are licensed with the local authority.

 

All our properties have:

• Automatic fire detection to B.S. 5839-6:2004

• Fire Doors To latest British standard.

• Electrical installation to B.S.7671 (2006)

• Locks on all doors to latest British standard.

• Gas Safety Certificate by Gas Safe registered engineers.

• Fire extinguishers to B.S.5306:part 3:1985

In addition, all houses in multiple occupation, are required to be licensed by the local authority. We are pleased to say that  all Jeff Holden Properties houses have been granted a licence by the local authority .This demonstrates our commitment to working with the statutory authorities, in order to provide our tenants with comfortable, safe and secure accommodation.In addition Mary J. An automatic fire detection system is installed in each property for your safety.

 

 

 

 

 

 Fire extinguishers to B. S. 5306:part 3: 1985

There are fire extinguishers on each floor of the property, as well as in the kitchen, where there is also a fire blanket provided.

 

 

 

 

 

 Gas Safety Certificates in each property

Each property is tested on a regular basis to ensure compliance with the latest gas safety regulations.
